I bought most my transmission swap parts from these guys. If any one is thinking about this, do it. These guys are good at dealing with Canadians. Plus the 2JZ is the best motor ever.

You should totaly RBxx it. all you need to make is mounts, downpipe and someone who knows wiring.
For the RB25 your trans bolts up to the bellhousing
For the RB26 you would need the RB25 oilpan and bellhousing.
THINK RB26 RWD 300

I have never seen that site before. so that mean you must do it now. Ill do the wiring for free
2jz is rthe way to go but once you want to go single it becomes expensive (2500+ for A/M ecu) piggybacks dont function well on them.
RB25s are under 3000 to fort mcmurray and very easy to strap a gt35r to.

And think about servicing your car with that motor in it. And you have a rhd so you would have way less fitment issues on the down pipe

The Japan Yen is going to own you.... six months ago it was $1cad = 105yen now its $1cad = 78yen and dropping fast.
So a $20 000 jdm car will now be a $27 000 car

And the goverment is inching closer to the new 25 year import law. You should sell the srt with the kit before spring and buy the supra ASAP. Tyee is still selling them at a good price.

Yeah they are pretty shady. The guy lied to my friend about the condition of the car. Took some stuff out of the car that was listed with it (fc commander). My friend paid him a lot of money to get the car repainted and they did a shitty mako job. But they have the last of the under $25 000 supras, they were the only dealership who perordered with none presold

Re: 2jz For everyone :0)
Ill put this whole thread back on topic. Read this. The 2JZ is Just cheaper to pull off in a swap. I mean, the possiblity of a swap in feb. seems to be likely, i just can't decide.
