I want a local drag strip

I'm sure I will, I first need a contact in City Hall for land development, I will keep everyone posted. I am now on a mission.

Sweet! I love when CJ Gets a one tracked mind. He ends up owning a new bike, quad, truck, a million ps3's.

It also gets me into trouble sometimes, soon to be money trouble too if I keep up the toy buying. On that note, I already have new junk for the quad and getting more tomorrow in Edmonton. I will have to call Mike to go out on quad if one/some of you guys don't step up and get some other toys.

I also did the Mayor's house as well, maybe I will start by calling her.

This is the first step to getting things done. We just have to remember that the municipality of wood buffalo has spent something like 2+ Billion dollers on projects in the last 2 years or so. But there are several obvious Pro's to having a drag track for us. Syncrude,Suncor,etc would need to be highly active in the process.

A problem with Syncrude or Suncor giving us a sponsor is the fact that the market SUCKS right now and they are probably staying away from giving money out.

And the Municipality has three things it puts money into, and two of those suck up the entire budget.

Mac Island
Airport (want to make international, but mac island stole the budget..)
Wood Buffalo housing development.

-New Highschool Catholic School Board (58 Million)
-Ecole McTavish Public School Board (49 Million)
-Anzac School (18.3 Million)
-Highway 63 Twinning ($600 Million)
-Keyano Sport and wellness centre (33.4 Million)
-Cost of living allowence teachers/nurses/support staff public serrvice employees (33.2 Million)
-Wood Buffalo Afforadble Housing (54 Million)
-Health Funding 81% the largest increase in the province with 3 new clinics and long term care land purchase, site preparation ($209.4 Million)
-Water treatment plan upgrade (103 Million
-Highway 881 widening and paving (118 Million)
-Phase 1 new RCMP detachment timberlee site. (52 Million)

I am all up for a 1/4 mile track in our region. Im just having a hard time seeing it happening anytime soon for obvious reasons. I will help in any way I can thow.
