Trever's Aristo single turbo downgrade

Post by stauff on Thu Nov 13, 2008 2:29 am

This is my 1992 Toyota Aristo. Seeing as the car came with the best engine ever, I did not have to do and internal modifications what so ever. I have no idea what my car is going to run at the track because nobody in north america has done something like his and posted results.

Current list of performance mods:

Mines high flow intake
mines retuned ECU
Tial 50mm BOV
Greddy Front Mount Intercooler
3in catback exhaust with second cat delete
JZA70 manual transmission
HKS GD MAX twin plate clutch
HKS GD flywheel
Stock Toyota LSD
Electric fan
Greddy Profec ii boost controller
Greddy boost cut controller
JIC Magic coil overs
Crossdrilled/slotted rotors
Wedsport staggered rims
Toyo Proxes T1R

Over the winter the car will have a few more upgrades done to it. My hp goal is at least 550 rwhp on pump gas without spray and 650+ on race fuel with spray. There will also be some major weight reduction. The whole stereo is being striped out, the front power seats will be replaced with a lighter A/M set, full size spare will be out and all the tools/parts/full size jack too. I'm hoping that will shave at least 350lbs.

Mods to be installed:
Greddy T4 turbo manifold
Greddy Type R wastegate
Precision Turbo T67 T4 turbo
4in intake
Nitrous Express import EFI single stage
Nitrous Express boost reference controller
Supra water pump
Driftmotion S/S Oil lines
AEM engine management system
AEM 3.5bar MAP sensor
AEM fuel pressure regulator
AEM UEGO wideband
Sard top feed fuel rail
Sard 800cc injectors
-8 S/S fuel system
Dual Walbro fuel pumps
4in downpipe
4in midpipe to dual 3in mufllers
HKS 264 camshafts
TMS cam gears
HKS timing belt
Drift Motion aluminum drive shaft

And the rest of this will be done later:
Unorthodox street pulleys
Titan crank pulley
Sard radiator hose
Tanabe sustec front and rear sway bars
Night Pager roll center adapter
Yanack traction rods
Koyo aluminum radiator
USDM MKIV front calipers and rotors

After all this is done I hope I still have the slowest manual transmission aristo here Cool

And to think, without all of this, you wouldn't need to go back to work.
